How Does Our Program Work?
When's the best time to start B-Speak! Coaching?
The sooner, the better! Although we work with students and professionals at all stages of their academic and career journey, we recommend getting started well before the start of your graduate program or job search. For business students, our partner business schools find that students who begin coaching shortly after admission have the greatest success in their programs and on the job market. Of course, a lot also depends on your current English level and your goals. We also work with people who are preparing for job and graduate school interviews.
What happens after I register?
As soon as you register, we acknowledge receipt and review the information you shared - your goals, your timeline for coaching, how many hours you'd like, etc. We then get to work matching you with one of our B-Speak! coaches. Once we've done that, we send you an email connecting you with your personal coach and the two of you take it from there to schedule your live sessions.
How is B-Speak! different from a typical English language program?
B-Speak! was designed for international graduate students and working professionals, and thus our content and approach focus on the skills you need to be successful in graduate business school and in your future career. It's also highly personalized such that sessions focus entirely on the areas YOU need to strengthen.
How many hours should I select?
That's entirely up to you, though we can advise based on your current level and goals. Most newly admitted graduate students sign up for 15 or 30 hour packages. For interview prep, 10 hours usually does the trick. You can also book a 10 hour package and add on additional hours at the same discounted rate for Ross students.
